How it works

1. Build and reserve your pot

Pick your seafood and order online, by phone, or in-store. Some locations can turn a pot around in as little as one day — two days’ notice is safer, and holiday weekends fill up faster than that.

2. Pick it up

Everything’s packed and ready when you arrive: seafood on ice, seasoning, sauces, the pot, the burner, and the instructions. It fits in a standard car trunk or SUV cargo area.

3. Steam & serve

Set the burner on a flat surface outdoors, hook up your propane, and steam. Start to finish, you’re eating in about an hour. Then dump the whole thing down the middle of a paper-covered table and let everybody dig in.

4. Return your equipment

Bring the pot and burner back and we’ll refund your $150 deposit. A rinse is fine — no scrubbing required.

Perfect for every occasion

One pot, 20–30 people, wherever you’re gathering.

Beach house vacations

One pot on the deck feeds the whole rental house, and the only dish to wash is the pot.

Family reunions

Nobody gets stuck cooking for forty. Steam it once, eat together, done.

Wedding weekends

Rehearsal dinner for 30 on the beach? One pot, no rentals, no catering staff.

Corporate events

A snow crab and shrimp boil beats a boxed-lunch order, and it gets people out of their seats and talking.

Neighborhood cookouts

Set the burner up in the driveway and let the block come to you.

Graduation and birthday parties

Big enough for the whole guest list, easy enough that you’re actually at your own party.

What people say after the table’s cleared

Pulled from Google reviews across all locations

Myself and a group of 30 vacationers ordered the Party pot from this place. It was awesome. They were very thorough and explaining instructions while we were in the store. And they included a very simple to read instruction sheet for how to properly cook what felt like 1500 pounds of seafood.

The food itself was high-quality and thankfully we cooked it correctly. If we find ourselves in Topsail, we’ll do this again.

Pickup only. Store has cooler with some local brews inside.

Great service, took home a bucket, followed their cooking directions, it turned out excellent. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Recommend 100%.

Amazing! My family wanted a seafood boil while we were visiting Surf City and this was exactly what we needed. Had everything we needed and easy to follow instructions. It all came out perfect! Absolutely delicious. Would 100 percent do it again.

Ocean City, NJ. Easy order, even easier pickup! Great food. Better than a restaurant take out order. Good amount of food. Sea food and veggies perfectly done.

The customer service was outstanding with very helpful instructions for cooking. And the seafood and vegs were delicious!! What a nice treat at the beach!

I walked in and was greeted with the best hello, how can I help you attitude. Madi and Tiffany were the most helpful young ladies I’ve ever met. Thank you both so much for your kindness and outgoing personalities to make my meal the best EVER!! I’ll definitely be back!!

Maddie was amazing!!

Frequently Asked Questions

One Party Pot feeds 20–30 people. It’s portioned for a full meal with corn and potatoes included, so most groups that size find one pot is plenty.

Party Pots start at about $20 per person, so a pot for 25 people starts around $500. Final pricing depends on which seafood you choose — shrimp-based pots sit at the low end, and lobster or scallops run higher. A $150 refundable deposit covers the pot and burner and comes back to you when you return the equipment.

You choose. Options include shrimp, snow crab, lobster, scallops, littleneck clams, andouille sausage, and kielbasa. Every pot also includes sweet corn, red bliss potatoes, homemade Topsail seasoning, drawn butter, and cocktail sauce.

Yes — the seafood is entirely your call. Mix shrimp and snow crab, build a clam bake, add lobster tails for a wedding weekend, or throw in andouille and kielbasa for a group with picky eaters. Call your local store and we’ll help you size and build it.

Some locations can have a pot ready in as little as one day. We recommend two days’ notice to be safe, and about a week for holiday weekends and peak summer dates, when slots fill up.

You can stop at any gas station to grab a propane tank!

No. The commercial pot and burner come with your order. All you supply is a propane tank and an outdoor spot to set up.

About an hour, start to finish. Think of it as DIY catering — you light the burner, follow the included instructions, and dinner for 30 is on the table in roughly the time it takes to set out drinks.

All of them. Every Topsail Steamer location packs Party Pots for pickup, though lead times vary a little by store — check your local location page for timing.

Yes, and it’s one of the most popular ways to use a Party Pot. You’ll need an outdoor space with a flat, stable surface for the burner — a deck, patio, driveway, or dock all work. Check your rental agreement for propane rules before you book.

The $150 deposit is fully refundable. Bring the pot and burner back to the store where you picked them up and we’ll refund it. A quick rinse is all we ask.
